I am sure you guys have all seen the trailer for 500 Days of Summer which opens today. The film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and the adorable Zooey Deschanel. I have been a fan of hers ever since she was in one of my favorite movies, Elf. That's right. I said it. Elf is one of my favorite movies.I have to say - the thing I like best about this movie so far is her wardrobe! To die for. It's a mixture of vintage and chain store (Gap, Old Navy) pieces.
What do you kids think - Would you see a movie just to look at the wardrobe or do you find "plot" important?

If I am being honest...plot does not matter a ton if the wardrobe and sets appear to be amazing. There are plenty of movies I have seen that I could guess from minute one what would happen, but I was kept entertained entirely by the costumes and background.
BTW, "I just like to smile. Smilings my favorite."

i love her, too, and i LOVE Elf! her singing is beautiful, too. have you seen her in the movie Eulogy with her? if not, you must; it is hilarious!
Just stopped in and saw this blog post about Zooey. I loved her when I saw her in Elf too. Apparently she has a cd out also! I'll probably be humming "Baby it's cold outside" all day today now. :)
I would not mind at all. And I hope you won't mind when I always answer the phone with "Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?"
