"What is so funny?" I ask this a lot in my house. They always seem to be cracking up about something. Sure, it is usually from a bodily function but there is no lack of laughter and humor in this house.
We encourage it. We are always wearing silly outfits or doing ridiculous dances in this house. I missed the memo that said parents must be miserable and straight faced. Our 4pm Sunday dance party always draws lots of laughter and is a good way to wrap up the weekend. I dread the day that my children role their eyes at our silly antics. When they turn to embarrassment instead of causing a chuckle.
Who am I fooling....I'm still going to do it. They'll get over it.
